Can eating blueberries help you become pregnant?
Throughout history, women have used many natural foods to bring fertility energy to themselves. Certain foods, like blueberries, were known to have “mystical powers”, and women who ate them not only benefited from their nutritional value but helped create the mindset of being ready for pregnancy. When the mind is ready the body prepares itself likewise.
For more than 5000 years, blueberries have not only been used for medicinal purposes but mystical ones as well. At the top of the berry, there is a calyx where the fruit attaches to the bush. This calyx forms a five-pointed star—the universal symbol of protection. When trying to get pregnant, it’s possible to feel vulnerable to your environment and everything going on around you. Historically, people ate blueberries not just because they were delicious, but because they brought the energy of protection.
Blueberries are especially good for you if you live in the United States. It is very helpful to ingest the energy of the space you live in, and can do so by eating native foods. Blueberries are indigenous to North America and eating them helps one feel connected to the US and all its past inhabitants. For those wishing to get pregnant, visualize the ancestors of North America helping you reach your pregnancy goal: a good reminder of all the support you can receive from the generations that came before you.
One other option to consider when trying to become pregnant is to add chocolate, an all-natural aphrodisiac, to your berries. The chocolate and berry combination lifts depression, gives you energy, and can make your partner quite interested in love-making. Why not try a bowl of chocolate covered blueberries tonight?
Baking blueberry muffins? Place a tablespoon of blueberry puree in the center of each muffin, symbolizing a child growing in the womb, and visualize a happy, healthy pregnancy while eating the muffin.
Blueberries are also great for guarding the home and welcoming good news and positive energy. A bowl of fresh or dried blueberries placed on your kitchen counter is the perfect invitation for a quick and healthy snack, and be sure to store the berries in the fridge when you’re done eating.
